Oben Description

The application of the boron nitride coating of the type Weld-Sputter-Release BN25 enables the easy and fast removing of weld sputter and other splashes which develop during welding and applying wear-protection layers. In this way mechanical working over again of workpieces can be reduced or prevented almost completely. The ready ready for use product Weld-Sputter-Release BN25 can be applied like a commercial wall paint by spraying or brushing, if necessray a dilution with distilled water is possible. As ready for use product Weld-Sputter-Release BN10 is available. A quick drying version is the product Boron-Nitride-Coating Grade E on the basis of ethanol.

ObenApplication

The surfaces which can be coated should be clean, dry and free of dust, dergrease prior to application.
Only after long storage time Weld-Sputter-Release BN25 should be sheked or agitated.
In the as received consistency Weld-Sputter-Release BN25 can be applied by brushing or rolling, if necessary it can be diuted with distilled water.
In order to achieve even coatings spraying is advantage.
After the application the coating must be dried carefully, either at air of if necessray with a gas burner.

ObenStorage-Container Size

Weld-Sputter-Release BN25 must be protected against frost. A storage temperature of >5°C (>41°F) is recommended. The containers should be kept closed. Weld-Sputter-Release BN25 is available in 1kg and 6kg-containers.

ObenSafety Advices

Weld-Sputter-Release BN25 contains water and is free of solvents. According to data available to us Weld-Sputter-Release BN25 is a non-hazardous preparation. An EC material safety data sheet is available.
