Home Products for (superplastic) forming

Airbus A380 Boron Nitride Coatings are very good high temperature release and lubricating agents and can be used with forming processes to 1000°C at air and up to 1800°C at inert gas. Due to their thermal stability they are clearly consider graphite and oils used so far in this area. The good chemical stability permits also its use when forming reactive metals such as titanium, which are used in aerospace and defense technology. Tools as well as workpieces can be coated with boron nitride coatings. The coatings can be applied like house paints by brushing or spraying. As a quick drying version the product Boron-Nitride-Coating Grade E is available on ethanol base. With extremly reactive metals Yttrium-Oxide-Coating YO-G can be used as separating and lubricating agent, which indicates a very good thermodynamic stability.
